What makes your sessions different from traditional therapy?
Rather than focusing only on talking about the past, we work with the body, breath, nervous system, emotions, and awareness together. Many clients tell me they experience shifts they had been trying to reach through words alone.
Can somatic therapy help anxiety?
Many people find that working directly with the nervous system helps reduce chronic stress, anxiety, overwhelm, and the feeling of constantly being "on alert." Every person's experience is unique, but the goal is to help your body rediscover a sense of safety and regulation.
